The Peregrine Fund provide some seed funding to enable the first draft habitat models of all African raptors with sufficient data in the ARDB.
With a cut-off date of the end of 1978, two model versions are produced to indicate historic occurrence based on continuous environmental datasets and current habitat existence which include the anthropogenic use or protected areas datasets.
